Who we are

Mills Fitchet was established in 1983 by two remarkable pioneers, Pat Mills and Geoff Fitchet, who had the vision to build a truly professional valuation practice specialising in agricultural valuations based on their experience, professionalism and a deep love of our land.  From sound principals, the firm expanded into the Mills Fitchet Group, an association of highly qualified independent valuers who still uphold these values and who now cover all facets of property valuation.

Our team consists of like-minded individuals focused on continually building our reputation and establishing Mills Fitchet as the valuers of first choice for those serious about their property investments.

As South Africa’s leading independent valuation group, we have a longstanding reputation in the field of real estate valuation and associated consultancy work, and have embraced the changes in our country to build a new generation of valuers who value our land

We actively seek to identify and assist previously disadvantaged individuals in the field of property valuation through mentorship programmes, and by forming joint ventures with affirmative business enterprises on larger commissions.
